A Women Through A Man's Eyes

A Women Through A Man's Eyes.

Through out history women are seen as the weaker sex. Women have always been seen as the ‘Housewife’ the one who stays home,
takes care of the kids, and has to have a hot meal on the table as soon as the husband gets home. But
when the men went off to war (WWII)  the women became the mother and the father.
In 1958 the very first episode of "The Donna Reed Show" aired. This show was about a house wife
who stayed home all day cooked, clean, took care of the kids, and made sure there was a hot plate of food when her husband came home from a 'long day' of work.
Now I'm not saying this show is horrible or that its the worse thing in the world but it is the prime example of what women were seen as.
Yes, I understand that this is their way of life back then. This is the way women lived because the 'man of
the house' was the only one allowed to work.
In todays day in age women of difference race and color are still being treated like the weaker sex.
A male has the same job as a female she is being paid less and is probably doing more than he is.
She is being paid less because she is a female.

My opinions

I believe that everyone is equal. Whether your Male, Female, different race, or same sex orientation. With that said if a person is working just as hard as the next why should one be paid any less?
What happened to the Equal Pay Act of 1963. I as a female do believe in a way this is discriminating an unfair.

 Chart 3
This graph shows the difference in pay from a white male and female to a Hispanic or Latino male and female's pay.
So really the Equal Pay Act of 1963 is a lie.
